Job summary

Altus Group in the United States is seeking a Manager, Daily Valuation & NAV Accounting to lead and scale our daily NAV calculations and share-price reporting for institutional real estate clients.

You will oversee client engagements, manage an analyst initially, and partner with appraisers, valuation teams, and senior stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely results and drive process improvements in daily valuation services.

Qualifications

• The candidate brings a strong accounting background with direct NAV calculations or NAV reporting experience.
• Excellent Excel skills with financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Experience supporting daily valuation, commercial real estate valuation, or valuation advisory is highly relevant.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily valuation and NAV calculations, review financial data, property values, debt and equity factors used in NAV reporting.
• Own client engagements and deliverables, manage timelines, budgets, and expectations while mitigating risks.
• Coordinate valuation updates and material event analysis with appraisers, clients, and internal teams.
• Analyze results, investigate variances, and collaborate with teams to determine follow-up actions.
• Provide technical review and direct team leadership, initially supervising one analyst with potential for expansion.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, interpret requests, and communicate complex information clearly.
• Lead process improvement to standardize and automate workflows for scalable daily valuation services.
• Explore AI and other technologies to enhance data handling and reporting quality.
• Mentor colleagues and share knowledge to grow the practice.
• Contribute to strategic development of the Daily Valuation & NAV Accounting service.
