Job summary

Schneider is hiring an Intermodal truck driver in the Northeast, offering daily home time and a steady schedule hauling freight containers on company-owned equipment. Expect mostly no-touch freight with significant drop-and-hook and collaborative yard operations in CT, NJ, NY, and PA.

Qualified applicants will hold a valid Class A CDL; tanker and HazMat endorsements are preferred. Requires a minimum of 3 months of CDL experience and being within 50 miles of Kearny, NJ.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Tankers endorsement and HazMat endorsement strongly preferred.
• Live within 50 miles of Kearny, NJ.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
• Operate with 99% no-touch freight and 75% drop-and-hook.
• Drive in and out of railyards within CT, NJ, NY and PA.
