Job summary

Connally ISD is seeking an instructional aide to support classroom instruction under a certified teacher's supervision. You will assist in preparing materials, supervising students, and helping with testing and administrative tasks.

The role emphasizes working with children, effective communication, and maintaining an organized classroom environment across inside and outdoor school activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree or two years of college preferred.
• Valid Texas educational aide certificate required.

Major Responsibilities And Duties

Instructional Support

• Provide instruction to students under the direction of teacher; work with individual students or small groups.

Student Management

• Help supervise students throughout school day, inside and outside classroom. This includes lunchroom, bus, and playground duty.


• Make teacher aware of special needs or problems of individual students.

• Participate in staff development training programs to improve job performance.


• Participate in faculty meeting and special events as assigned.


• Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.


• Alternative methods of performing duties.
