Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated PRN Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team in delivering compassionate, client-centered care in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

At The Recovery Center we provide critical alternative to inpatient hospitalization. We offer walk-in outpatient services 24/7, a 23-hour observation unit, residential psychiatric stabilization, and medically monitored detox services.

Location/Schedule:

3575 Fulton Mill Road, Macon, GA – PRN

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess clients’ health problems and needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans and maintain medical records.
• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled clients.
• Advise clients on health maintenance and disease prevention, as needed, and provide case management services when applicable.
• Supervise support or lower-level staff, as needed, and observe nursing practices to ensure proper care is provided.
• Communicate effectively with clinical team members and healthcare providers.
• Monitor all aspects of client care.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms and changes in clients’ conditions.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate client care plans.
• Ensure the unit is adequately staffed during each shift.
• Provide education to clients and their families.
• Complete medication documentation and administration through Med-Path.
• Implement de-escalation strategies to reduce and prevent harmful behaviors during crisis situations.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
• Minimum of one (1) year of professional nursing experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
