Join us as a Kitchen Manager at D.H. Lescombes Winery and Bistro in Albuquerque, NM

Lescombes Family Vineyards, a premier vineyard and winery in New Mexico, is seeking a qualified Kitchen Manager for our newest location, D.H. Lescombes Winery and Bistro.

Pay Range

The estimated base pay range is $70,000 to $90,000 per year, based on skills and experience. Additional details about compensation and benefits are provided during the interview process.

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee food creation and preparation, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive environment and ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Maintain inventory, manage budgets, and control costs to achieve profitability.
  • Hire, train, and evaluate staff performance.
  • Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and organization within the kitchen.
  • Coordinate with front-of-house staff to enhance guest experience.
  • Perform quality checks and manage food waste reduction initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or in a senior culinary role, preferably in fine dining or winery settings.
  • Knowledge of wine and food pairing is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen operations.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Google Sheets and Documents.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
