Job summary

Welocalize, Inc. seeks a Czech QA specialist to validate translations for software, mobile apps, and documentation. You will report defects using our internal tracking tools, prioritize issues, and ensure high-quality linguistic outputs.

This role requires native Czech language skills, cultural awareness, and strong communication. Remote with occasional attendance at our Cupertino, CA offices. W-2 eligible for benefits; standard 35-hour workweek (Mon-Fri, 9:00-17:00).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• - Write and report relevant bugs and errors using best practices through the internal database system.
• - Ability to understand and prioritize tasks and issues quickly and efficiently.
• - Native language skills and cultural awareness of Czechia.
• - Good oral and written communication.
• - Highly organized with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• - QA various products by accurately following testing instructions and test cases.
• - Discover and report defects (bugs) using client-specific bug-tracking tools.
• - Evaluate translations in the context of software, mobile apps, and documentation.
• - Be a subject matter expert for linguistic issues in Czech; be able to research and resolve linguistic questions.
• - Adhere to project-specific quality standards, trademarks, style guides, and client-preferred checklists and glossaries.
• - Troubleshoot basic problems; be able to communicate effectively and elevate testing issues.
• - Complete assigned tasks in a quality and timely manner.

REQUISITION AND REQUIREMENTS

Remote with occasional attendance at our offices in Cupertino, CA.

W-2 (eligible for benefits based on hours worked).

Monday-Friday (9:00 am - 5:00 pm, with a 1-hour lunch break, 35 hours per week).

To be eligible for this role, you’ll need a valid visa permitting you to work in the USA.
