Job summary

College of DuPage seeks adjunct faculty to teach non‑credit Czech language courses at the Glen Ellyn campus and possibly online. Instructors will plan courses, deliver instruction in various formats (in‑person, online, hybrid), and evaluate students while ensuring timely paperwork.

Courses are short, with evening or weekend offerings, paid by stipends. Preference is given to those with at least two years of adult teaching experience and ability to teach remotely using technology.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience teaching to adults is preferred.
• Instructors should be able to teach in person at the Glen Ellyn campus.
• Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching preferred. Access to personal technology, home computer with appropriate ability to teach online required.

Responsibilities

• Course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings; multiple delivery modes (face-to-face, online, hybrid, blended).
• Student evaluation and timely, accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
