Job summary

College of DuPage seeks adjunct faculty to teach non‑credit Czech language courses at the Glen Ellyn campus and possibly online. Instructors will plan courses, deliver instruction in various formats (in‑person, online, hybrid), and evaluate students while ensuring timely paperwork.

Courses are short, with evening or weekend offerings, paid by stipends. Preference is given to those with at least two years of adult teaching experience and ability to teach remotely using technology.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Adjunct Faculty instructors at College of DuPage are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings. Courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as face‑to‑face, online, hybrid, and/or blended formats. In addition, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.

Required Qualifications:

Continuing Education courses are short, focused courses offered for personal growth and development. We are currently seeking instructors to teach non‑credit, in‑person adult enrichment Czech language courses. Most courses for adults meet once a week for three hours on a weekday evening or Saturday morning for 3 to 5 weeks. No academic credit is awarded.

These positions are paid by stipends for course assignments.
