Qualifications

New York State Cytotechnologist license required.
Training in cytotechnology approved by American Society of Clinical Pathology required.
BA or BS degree in medical technology or life sciences required; Master degree preferred.
Proficiency in CD-ROM based analysis systems.
Knowledge of computer skills.

Responsibilities

Research analysis - Create CD-ROM based analysis system.
Understand principles of operation teaching Cytotechnologists.
Organize research analysis and maintain records ensuring correct review and analysis and record retention required for grant and company support.
Perform statistical analysis and correlation data studies, analyze statistics and prepare data for publication.
Maintain computer hardware and software needed to develop project keeping systems functional.
