Montefiore Medical Center's Division of Clinical Pathology seeks a Cytotechnologist to support cytology lab analysis and teaching. The role involves research, data handling, and collaboration across pathology sites in the Bronx, with a 9:00 AM–5:30 PM schedule and alternating weekends.
Qualified candidates hold a NY Cytotechnologist license, ASCP-approved cytology training, and a BA/BS in medical technology or life sciences; Master’s degree preferred.

Montefiore Medical Center's Division of Clinical Pathology is responsible for the laboratory testing of blood, urine, and body fluids for disease diagnosis and health maintenance. Utilizing the latest advances in computer technology, the Division maintains millions of dollars of state-of-the-art automated equipment at its laboratory sites and services hospitals, nursing homes, the Montefiore Medical Group, faculty practices, and voluntary physicians' offices at more than 40 sites. For research purposes, performs a variety of duties of a cytotechnologist such as screening and marking of a broad variety of diagnostic material. In addition, is capable of performing sophisticated analysis of data and assist in the performance of complex computer systems in the research laboratory.
This position is located in Cytopathology lab at the Moses campus. The hours are 9:00am to 5:30pm with alternate Weekends
