Qualifications

• BA or BS degree in medical technology or life sciences.
• Master's degree preferred.
• New York State Cytotechnologist license is required.
• ASCP-approved cytotechnology training is required.
• Proficiency with CD-ROM based analysis systems and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Research analysis - Create CD-ROM based analysis system.
• Understand principles of operation teaching Cytotechnologists.
• Organize research analysis and maintain records ensuring correct review and analysis and record retention required for grant and company support.
• Perform statistical analysis and correlation data studies, analyze statistics and prepare data for publication.
• Maintain computer hardware and software needed to develop project keeping systems functional.
