Qualifications

• New York State Cytotechnologist license required.
• Training in cytotechnology approved by American Society of Clinical Pathology required.
• BA or BS degree in medical technology or life sciences required; Master degree preferred.
• Proficiency in CD-ROM based analysis systems.
• Knowledge of computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Research analysis and data organization for grant support.
• Teach Cytotechnologists and explain core principles of operation.
• Organize research analyses and maintain records; ensure review and retention for grants.
• Perform statistical analysis and prepare data for publication.
• Maintain computer hardware and software needed to support project work.
