Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biological, Chemical or Clinical Laboratory Science.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Cytotechnology and ASCP certified.
• Minimum one year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen GYN and Non-GYN and FNA cytology specimens.
• Enter preliminary results into the system for final pathologist review.
• Attend Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology procedures to determine specimen adequacy.
• Maintain supplies and stain control logs for the cytology lab.
• Perform routine maintenance on microscopes and other laboratory equipment.
• Maintain cytology records and annual statistics.
