Job description

Growing Laboratory Hiring Cytotechnologist

• Days or Nights
• This individual is responsible for screening and diagnosing gynecological and non-gynecological slides while working under the supervision of the pathologists and supervisor and following their technical direction. Activities may include accessioning, staining, microscopic screening, and filing of cytology slides and requisitions. They will report results of all tests performed according to established procedures. Additionally, this individual will participate fully in all cytology quality control procedures and comply with quality assurance and management standards as outlined by the department, JCAHO, CAP, CLIA, and other applicable agencies. This role involves troubleshooting technical procedures within the department and making recommendations for solutions.
