Position Details

• Responsibilities: Screening and diagnosing gynecological and non-gynecological slides under supervision of pathologists and supervisor, following technical directions. Activities include accessioning, staining, microscopic screening, and filing of cytology slides and requisitions. Reporting results according to established procedures. Participating in cytology quality control procedures and complying with quality assurance standards set by departments and agencies such as JCAHO, CAP, and CLIA. Troubleshooting technical procedures and recommending solutions.
