SolutionHealth in Nashua, NH is seeking a Cytotechnologist to perform specialized cytology testing and evaluation under supervision. You will screen gynecologic and non-gynecologic specimens, support QA initiatives, maintain equipment, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Cytotechnologist Training Program.
• CT (ASCP) certification required.
• ThinPrep Cytology Screening Training and Certification required.
• ThinPrep Imaging Processor and Review Scope certification preferred.
• 1–3 years Cytotechnologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and screen Pap smear specimens utilizing ThinPrep and imaging technology.
• Screen and evaluate gynecologic and non-gynecologic specimens.
• Differentiate benign, infectious, pre-malignant, and malignant cellular findings.
• Utilize ThinPrep Imaging System and Review Scope for evaluation and diagnosis.
• Refer complex cases to Supervisor or Pathologist as appropriate.
• Support quality control and accurate documentation of results.
• Initiate corrective actions for quality concerns.
• Review and update departmental procedures and manuals.
• Ensure compliance with policies and accrediting standards.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance.
• Maintain proficiency with laboratory and computer systems.
• Participate in QA activities and continuing education.
• Communicate workload and operational needs with leadership.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Support staffing needs and department meetings.
