Job summary

Medical Diagnostic Laboratories (MDL), part of Genesis Biotechnology Group, is seeking a Cytotechnologist for full-time, part-time or per diem opportunities. The Cytotechnologist performs specialized microscopic screening and interpretation of gynecological and non-gynecological specimens and communicates findings to supervisory cytotechnologists and pathologists.

Applicants should have ASCP Board Certification and experience with Thin-Prep Imaging System.

Qualifications

• ASCP Board Certification is required.
• Experience with Thin-Prep Imaging System; Review Scope a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs microscopic evaluation of cellular samples and provides interpretations.
• Correlates findings with supervisory cytotechnologist and pathologists.
• Records data accurately and maintains turnaround times.
• Ensures safe handling of specimens and proper use of equipment.
• Maintains privacy of patient information.
• Works as part of a team and communicates findings clearly.
