Job summary

Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL seeks a Cytotechnologist for full-time, 40 hours/week. Responsibilities include microscopic examination of gynecologic and non-gynecologic slides to detect infectious, pre-malignant, and malignant processes.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Cytology with CAAHEP accreditation and obtaining Cytotechnologist (CT) (ASCP) certification within 1 year of hire, plus CLIA high-complexity testing qualifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school of Cytology.
Graduation from an accredited school of Cytology per CAAHEP in collaboration with CPRC/ASC.
Must obtain Cytotechnologist (CT) (ASCP) certification within 1 year of hire date.
Must meet requirements for performing high complexity testing as defined by federal licensing guidelines (CLIA) and accreditation agencies (TJC,CAP).
