Qualifications

• Associate degree with 1 year clinical laboratory experience, or high school diploma with 2 years clinical laboratory experience.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to adapt in a changing environment.
• Experience with Epic patient registration is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Process specimens and prepare slides for microscopic examination.
• Specimen triage, registration in Epic, and filing of slides.
• Assists pathologist or pathology assistant and performs specimen accessioning.
• Maintains QA/QC records and daily workflow documentation.
• Performs routine staining and coordinates sending autopsies when required.
