Job summary

Endeavor Health is recruiting a Cytologist for full-time and PRN shifts in our Illinois system. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Cytotechnology or related field from a CAAHEP-accredited program and be eligible for CT(ASCP) certification within one year of employment.

Experience with traditional and modern lab methods and color analysis is preferred. The position offers a competitive hourly wage and a comprehensive benefits package, including education reimbursement and health plans.

Hourly Pay Range:

$35.85 - $55.57 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

What you will need:

• Education: Earn a Bachelor’s degree in Cytotechnology, Biology, or related field from a CAAHEP-accredited program. Complete an accredited cytotechnology training program.
• Certification: Cytotechnologist/Cytologist, CT(ASCP) certification or eligible (within the first year of employment if new graduate).
• Unique or Preferred Skills: Demonstrates advanced knowledge of traditional and modern laboratory methods, with the ability to distinguish color accurately for specimen analysis.
