Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related field.
Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license if required.
Strong Microsoft Office skills and typing abilities.

Responsibilities

Independently performs moderate and complex clinical tests with accuracy.
Calibrates equipment and runs quality control per procedures.
Evaluates specimens and validates results before reporting.
Maintains documentation and notifies abnormal results promptly.
Maintains supplies and participates in quality improvement meetings.
Trains staff and supports training programs.
Performs proficiency testing and adheres to safety policies.
Provides supervision to unlicensed staff as needed.
