Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or life/physical sciences.
• Current State Clinical Laboratory Scientist license (California preferred) or eligibility.
• Zero to three years of direct laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs moderate to highly complex clinical tests following procedures and policies.
• Prepares reagents, media, standards, controls; tests and evaluates new reagents.
• Determines specimen acceptability and calculates results with manual or computerized methods.
• Enters results accurately and monitors reporting; maintains turnaround times.
• Maintains safety, calibration, and quality control of laboratory equipment.
