Job summary

Reporting to Hub Plant Manager, you translate goals into actions, manage staffing, fleet operations, budgets, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean/Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of CFR, OSHA, EPA, SAHRA, DOT.
• Experience in specialty, medical, or industrial cylinder operations.
• Background in manufacturing of industrial, medical, or specialty gases; hydrocarbons experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Distribution function within the branch, following policies and standards.
• Translate divisional goals into clear operational objectives and short-term plans.
• Oversee staffing levels, workflow, fleet operations, compliance, and inventory planning.
• Impacts departmental operating budgets and supervises distribution personnel.
• Oversee vehicle fleet maintenance, inspections, and registration requirements.
• Maintain all DOT documentation and driver qualification files.
• Support Lean/Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives.
