Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years’ experience in manufacturing or warehouse.
• Strong written and verbal communication, customer service oriented.
• Basic computer skills; able to learn new systems.
• Forklift training and experience preferred.
• Ability to read DOT and FDA documentation.
• Able to work outdoors in varying temperatures; lift up to 50 lbs (up to 100 lbs with assistance) and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Count incoming cylinders and safely load/unload trucks.
• Inspect cylinders (body, labels, valves) for quality and safety.
• Operate forklift to load/unload and gather stock.
• Handle and nest cylinders per procedures; secure storage.
• Connect cylinders to manifold, open valves to draw off residual gas, evacuate.
• Review and document calibrations for thermometers, gauges, and equipment.
• Fill, weigh, document cylinders; perform pre-fill and post-fill tests.
