General Air Service & Supply is hiring a Cylinder Test Technician in Commerce City, Colorado. The role supports production by testing gas and liquid containers, labeling, and maintaining testing SOPs to ensure product readiness for delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong safety focus and regulatory awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate and interpret the results of the UE tester.
• Inspect and maintain gas and liquid containers for testing.
• Mark and identify cylinders and tanks.
• Safely operate a forklift; loading, unloading, and transporting.
• Ensure protection caps are secured and cylinders are labeled.
• Document and follow all SOPs for testing.

The ideal candidate has a history working with his/her hands, enjoys following policies and procedures, understands the importance of safety, and is motivated by hard work.**Your Day-to-Day:*** Operate and interpret the results of the UE tester* Methodically inspect and maintain gas and liquid containers for testing* Accurately mark and identify cylinders and tanks* Safely operate a forklift; loading, unloading, and transporting* Ensure protection caps are secured over valves and cylinders are labeled correctly* Document and follow all SOP for testing gas and liquid containers* Understand and learn FDA, DOT, GHS, OSHA, and HAZCOM requirements* Strategically organize and arrange product in the testing area* Handling and/or moving gas and liquid containers* Accurately document and track production needs and requirements* Communicates with all stakeholders effectively ensures final quality of work* Maintain a safe and clean work environment* Other duties as assigned**What You Bring to the Team:*** High School Diploma or equivalent* Certified Class 2 non-destructive tester* Comfortable handling hazardous materials* Be able to stand on your feet 7 to 8 hours a day with lots of walking, twisting, bending, reaching, pushing/pulling, grasping, sitting and repetitive motions* Frequent lifting of 10-20lbs is required, may at times lift up to 75lbs* Reoccurring pushing/pulling 150lbs* Possess basic mechanical skills* Desire to work hard and be punctual* Strong track record of being safe* Ability to perform repetitive work functions in a production environment* Passion to follow regulatory requirements and compliance procedures* Strong computer literacy* Ability to work differentiated shifts* Legible handwriting* Effectively communicate with fellow workers* Work independently or as a team* Energetic attitude* Friendly personality* Team player**Why General Air:**Our employees tell us that people choose General Air Service & Supply, many times until retirement, because of the way they are treated.
