Job summary

AirgasGeismar, LA is seeking a Production Associate (Cylinder Loader) to fill high-pressure cylinders and support the loading, testing, and inspection process. You will operate and maintain filling equipment, perform pre-fill and post-fill checks, and ensure accurate record-keeping under safety guidelines. The role requires heavy lifting, forklift operation, and compliance with local regulations.

A High School diploma or equivalent and valid U.S. work authorization are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have valid U.S. work authorization.
• Regularly lift 25–75 lbs, occasionally 76–100 lbs with aid.
• Forklift operation and certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tests gas for purity using testing equipment.
• Inspects or tests empty cylinders.
• Fill cylinders to target pressure or weight.
• Operate and maintain pumping equipment and gauges.
• Maintain cylinder condition and set aside for repair if needed.
• Inspect and maintain pumping apparatus and monitoring devices.
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks and trailers.
• Support inventory and general housekeeping; assist customers.
