Job summary

AmeriGas is hiring a Production Worker for the outside production area at the cylinder exchange facility. Responsibilities include sorting, inspecting, cleaning, painting, labeling, and refilling 20 lb BBQ cylinders, while maintaining safety protocols and quality control.

The role requires the ability to stand 8–12 hours daily, lift up to 50 pounds, and operate within a fast-paced production team. Prior manufacturing exposure and forklift certification are advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to stand 8–12 hours and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Sort, inspect, clean, paint, label, and refill empty cylinders.
• Maintain a safety focus at all times and wear the proper PPE.
• Ensure the consistent quality of cylinders being processed.
• Load filled cylinders onto the truck(s) for the next day’s shipments.
• Ability to stand and walk 8–12 hours per day.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.
