Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in the gas industry or cylinder maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to lift and handle up to 40–70 lbs. as needed.
• Mechanically inclined with a strong, self-motivated work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and physical inspections on cylinders before filling.
• Conduct cylinder conversions including de-valving and repairing valves.
• Operate hydrostatic and ultrasonic cylinder testers.
• Maintain required certifications for cylinder retesting.
• Operate a forklift for material handling of cylinders.
• Inspect and scrap defective cylinders when necessary.
• Perform light maintenance to ensure a safe work environment.
