Job summary

Airgas is hiring a Production Associate (Cylinder Loader) in Cherry Hill, NJ for 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm). The role involves loading/unloading cylinders, inspecting for safety, and operating forklift and pallet jack. Familiarity with SAP or ERP systems and basic math are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Minimum of 1 year of related technical experience.
• Prior experience with SAP or similar ERP is preferred.
• Knowledge of Google Suite or Microsoft Office is desirable.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic across units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload high‑pressure and liquid cylinders on/off trucks in compliance with regulations.
• Inspect cylinders prior to filling and read cylinder labels and color codes.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Record cylinder type and quantity, and ensure cylinders are strapped during transport.
• Segregate out-of-test or defective cylinders and maintain equipment and cylinder inspection routines.
