Job summary

Airgas in Valley View, OH is seeking a Production Associate (Cylinder Filler) to safely operate equipment for the handling and production of packaged gas cylinders, including high-pressure and cryogenic vessels.

You will load and unload cylinders, sort by type, read cylinder labels, perform safety checks, assist with filling and documentation to meet DOT, FDA and OSHA standards, and contribute to a team focused on accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus.
• Familiarity with gas, welding, and safety supply industries valued.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads gas cylinders onto/off trucks and moves with carts.
• Sorts empty cylinders by type for organized workflow.
• Operates forklift and handles cylinders safely on pallets.
• Reads cylinder labels and color-coding; prints/labels correctly.
• Performs safety checks and fills cylinders by pressure/weight per standards.
• Maintains inventory, documents to DOT/FDA/OSHA standards.
