The candidate should have 2+ years cyclotron experience or an associate degree in a technical discipline, and be able to read electrical/mechanical drawings, with strong problem-solving and radiation-safety awareness.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years cyclotron experience or an Associate Degree in a Technical Discipline.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electronics down to the component level.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Knowledge of radiation survey meters is required.
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing equipment failures.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

  • Operate cyclotron(s) per procedures, including night or weekend shifts.
  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance on cyclotron(s).
  • Document maintenance and repair activity per work instructions.
  • Plan accelerator maintenance with Tech Services management.
  • Diagnose and repair electronic, high vacuum, HV, and radiosynthesizer systems.
  • Provide first-line support and repair of PET manufacturing equipment.
