Job summary

Polaris Pharmacy Services of San Diego LLC is seeking a Cycle Fill Technician to accurately prepare medication cycles and manage inventory for optimal patient care. You will collaborate with pharmacists and maintain detailed records to ensure compliance.

The role requires strong attention to detail, experience with pharmacy software, and a commitment to patient safety in a fast-paced environment at our San Diego locations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy tech license/certification as per state regulations.
• Experience with long-term care or hospital-style pharmacy operations preferred.
• Proficiency with pharmacy management software and documentation processes.

This role is integral to maintaining the efficiency and reliability of pharmacy operations, contributing to the overall quality of patient care.Duties/Responsibilities:• Accurately fill and label medication orders according to established protocols and procedures.• Conduct regular inventory checks and manage stock levels to ensure adequate supply for cycle fills.• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to resolve discrepancies and ensure patient safety.• Maintain detailed records of medication fills and inventory usage for compliance and audit purposes.• Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance the efficiency of cycle fill operations.• Ensure adherence to all regulatory and company standards regarding medication handling and storage.• Provide support and guidance to junior staff members in the cycle fill process.• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with pharmacy practices and regulations.QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
