Job summary

Bob Mills Furniture is seeking an Inventory Specialist to ensure accurate stock levels across locations and to maintain proper tagging in our inventory system. In this role, you will perform daily counts in the warehouse and showroom, monitor movements, and resolve discrepancies.

You will also assist with periodic inventories and support shipping/receiving processes, reporting issues to inventory personnel as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Experience in shipping and receiving preferred.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
• Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions.
• Capable of standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily counts of merchandise in the warehouse and on the floor to ensure 100% accuracy.
• Monitor and report all merchandise moves through the warehouse.
• Monitor and report merchandise that is transferred, received, and shipped until it reaches its destination.
• Ensure proper tagging procedures are carried out.
• Resolve inventory issues through analyzing computer data, counts, and conversations with other inventory personnel
• Assist with periodic inventory of the whole store.
• Other duties as assigned
