Job summary

CTI Foods is a customer-focused custom manufacturer of quality food products with seven state-of-the-art facilities and 1,800+ employees. We seek a Cycle Counter to maintain daily raw material inventory and ensure accuracy throughout the process, from receiving to finish goods.

You will perform cycle counts, receive spice and packaging materials, tag materials in Macola, store materials correctly, and assist in reconciling discrepancies while upholding food safety and GMPs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Receiving of spice, packaging and corrugate materials.
• All materials will be received into Macola and must include a tag.
• Ensuring raw materials are stored in the proper location and scanned accordingly.
• Support accounting in reconciling of any raw material discrepancies found on shop floor orders.
• Support of unloading LTL deliveries when needed.

Job Overview

The Cycle Counter will be expected to complete all job functions listed below to ensure an accurate inventory of raw materials is maintained on a daily basis. Inventory and locations of raw materials will be maintained throughout the entire process from receiving to the end finish good. As receiving will be one of the primary functions of this position accurate tracking of raw materials will be crucial to successfully complete this task. This position will require the associate to maintain a close working relationship with all departments while keeping safety and food safety in the fore front of all actions and decisions being made in the plant.

• Ability to identify visual defects and make correction as needed and identify and distinguish between colors.
• Must be able to work in areas of varying temperatures.

• Follow all company Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and adhere to JSA guidelines.
• Follow daily set up and/or shutdown procedures.
• Maintain accurate records.

• Must be able to work any shift, overtime, weekends and/or holidays.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Experience with utilizing Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
• Ability to safely operate a powered lift.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 40 LBS repetitively
• Employee will be on their feet up to 10 hours a day
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in warehouse operations.
