Smithfield Foods, a leading pork processor and hog producer in the United States, is hiring a Cycle Counter in our distribution center. You will perform daily, weekly, and quarterly cycle counts, investigate variances, and ensure inventory accuracy across locations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1+ years in a DC environment, proficiency with MS Office, and experience with cycle counting. The role requires attention to detail and safety-conscious practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years in a distribution center environment preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office; familiarity with warehouse systems preferred.
• Experience with cycle counting is highly desired.
• Ability to perform basic math and convert counts to bottles or cases.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Compile items to count and perform daily, weekly, or quarterly cycle counts.
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve inventory variances.
• Record transactions and use appropriate software.
• Operate PIT equipment and RF guns for counting locations.
• Follow safety procedures and work environment guidelines.
