Job summary

S.P. Richards Company in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a Cycle Count Associate to conduct quarterly inventory counts across locations, utilizing PkMS and RF scanning tools. The role includes accurate data entry, safety compliance, and autonomous work in a loud warehouse environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with 1–3 months related experience. Forklift certification is a plus; hours start at 9AM, with hourly pay rates starting at $16.65 and up to $20.06 after one year.

Qualifications

• Math: add and subtract two-digit numbers; multiply and divide with 10s and 100s.
• Reasoning: apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• The work environment can be loud and involves exposure to moving parts.

Responsibilities

• Cycle Count means to go to an area where inventory is located; identify the product, count the quantity at that location and enter it into PkMS.
• Cycle Count a specified number of inventory locations according to the prescribed quota as set by management
• Perform repeat counts as dictated by management review of cycle counting data
• General housekeeping of the facility and specific inventory area is required to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Accuracy in repetitive routine is very important while maintaining good speed
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules including the handling of hazardous materials
• Proper handling and filing of inventory reports and other associated paperwork
• Be responsible for and operate RF scanning devices on a daily basis
• Understands and operates PkMS warehouse management system.
• Print, monitor and process tasks based on Crystal and PkMS report data.
• Able to work autonomously and independent of supervision.
• Occasionally operates forklift equipment – certification required.

Summary:

• Must be functionally literate and capable of understanding and recognizing product numbers and line codes to insure proper counting of DC inventory.
