Job summary

Deutsche Post DHL Group is seeking a Cycle Counter to support inventory accuracy in a warehouse environment. The role requires experience with Order Picker, Reach Truck, Dock Stocker, and a WMS.

Typical duties include cycle counts, discrepancy reporting, and ensuring accurate inbound/outbound inventory. Qualified candidates will have 6 months in warehousing and a HS diploma or equivalent. The position offers first shift hours and base pay described below.

Qualifications

• A MINIMUM of 1 year’s experience operating Order Picker, Reach Truck and Dock Stocker.
• A MINIMUM of 6 months’ experience in Inventory Control including cycle count and reporting discrepancies.
• At least 6 months’ experience with a WMS (Warehouse Management System) or similar systems such as JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, SAP, etc.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• 6 months warehousing/material handling experience, preferred

Responsibilities

• Count and verify inventory accuracy for inbound and outbound stock.
• Ensure orders match customer specifications; check labeling and addressing.
• Investigate inventory location discrepancies and errors.
• Research shipping errors and validate product recalls when needed.
• Assist with lift equipment operations and related tasks as required.
• Support other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Pay: $20.50 Base Pay

Role Purpose:

Responsible for the periodic and accurate counting of inventory to help control errors and will ensure that customer orders are on time and complete

Key Accountabilities:

• Responsible for the accurate checking or counting of all product for both inbound and outbound freight and for ensuring all product is free of damage and infestation and production code dates are properly recorded.
• Ensure the quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of orders corresponds to customer specifications and/or other requirements.
• Research all inventory location problems (mystery pallets, inventory errors, etc.).
• Research shipping errors and complete validation. Check for product recalls.
• Responsible for any areas (including inbounds, picking, outbounds, etc.) requiring additional lift operator-related task assistance.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• 6 months warehousing/material handling experience, preferred
