Job summary

supply-chain is seeking a Cycle Counter to ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and investigations of discrepancies. This position requires a high school diploma and preferably 6 months of relevant warehousing experience.

Job description

Position: Cycle Counter

Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday-Thursday) 3:00pm-1:00am

Pay: $20.50 per hour + $1.00 Shift Premium

Additional Incentives: Safety shoe reimbursement

Core Responsibilities

Performing regular and scheduled cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy using RF Scanner and WMS. Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies. Assist with physical inventory counts and audits as needed.

Role Purpose

Responsible for the periodic and accurate counting of inventory to help control errors and will ensure that customer orders are on time and complete.

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible for the accurate checking or counting of all product for both inbound and outbound freight and for ensuring all product is free of damage and infestation and production code dates are properly recorded.


• Ensure the quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of orders corresponds to customer specifications and/or other requirements.


• Research all inventory location problems (mystery pallets, inventory errors, etc.).


• Research shipping errors and complete validation. Check for product recalls.


• Responsible for any areas (including inbounds, picking, outbounds, etc.) requiring additional lift operator-related task assistance.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred


• 6 months warehousing/material handling experience, preferred
