Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Ohio is hiring a Cycle Clerk on 2nd shift (3:30pm–2:00am, Mon–Thu). You will support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and discrepancy research to maintain correct system updates.

Responsibilities include checking inbound/outbound product, matching orders to specs, researching location issues and shipping errors, and performing lift operator tasks as needed. Preferred candidates have 6 months warehouse experience and WMS knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 6 months warehousing/material handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for periodic and accurate counting of inventory to control errors and ensure customer orders are on time and complete.
• Conduct cycle counts and investigate discrepancies to update systems accurately.
• Check inbound and outbound product for damage, labeling, and compliance with specifications.
• Research inventory location issues and shipping errors; validate corrections.
• Assist in lift operator tasks as needed across inbound, picking, and outbound areas.

The core responsibilities is to supports inventory accuracy and daily inventory control operations within the facility. This role is responsible for completing cycle count activities, researching discrepancies, and ensuring accurate system updates to maintain inventory integrity.

Position: Cycle Clerk

Shift: 2nd Shift 3:30pm - 2:00am Monday - Thursday

Pay: $20.00

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate may also possess the following skills and/or experience:

A minimum of 6 months inventory experience preferred.

First preference will be given to those with stand‑up Dock Stocker and Reach Truck experience. Experience operating other material handling equipment such as Order (Cherry) Picker, Sit‑down, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jack is also a plus. A minimum of 6 month’s experience using a commercial WMS (warehouse management system) such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP is preferred.

Role Purpose:

Responsible for the periodic and accurate counting of inventory to help control errors and will ensure that customer orders are on time and complete

Key Accountabilities:

• Responsible for the accurate checking or counting of all product for both inbound and outbound freight and for ensuring all product is free of damage and infestation and production code dates are properly recorded.
• Ensure the quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of orders corresponds to customer specifications and/or other requirements.
• Research all inventory location problems (mystery pallets, inventory errors, etc.).
• Research shipping errors and complete validation. Check for product recalls.
• Responsible for any areas (including inbounds, picking, outbounds, etc.) requiring additional lift operator‑related task assistance.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• 6 months warehousing/material handling experience, preferred
