Job summary

OPW, a Dover Corporation company, is seeking a Cycle Counter at its Elon, NC assembly facility. This role focuses on accurate inventory counting, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining precise records in the inventory system while collaborating with production and warehouse teams. The schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00 a.m.

to 4:00 p.m. with overtime as needed. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, able to lift up to 40 lbs, and possess strong data-analysis skills and the ability to work

This position is based in our Elon assembly facility and the typical schedule is Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m with some flexibility on start/end time. Ability to work overtime as needed is required.

SCOPE: The Cycle Counter is responsible for accurately counting and tracking inventory within the warehouse. This position requires an individual who is detail-oriented and able to work independently while managing multiple tasks. Responsibilities include conducting physical counts of stock, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records in the inventory system. The Cycle Counter must also possess good communication skills to coordinate with production and inventory management personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cycle count materials which will be monitored by the Inventory Control Analyst and/or Sr Director of Supply Chain Research inventory discrepancies and submit accurate inventory and bin location reports
• Assist in determining root causes on inventory discrepancies and help implement corrective actions to eliminate repetitive errors
• Assist in updating systems with accurate information
• Follow all safety rules and guidelines

This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
