Job summary

OPW is seeking a Quality Analyst to perform in-process and final product quality analyses in compliance with standards and regulatory requirements. You will interpret analyses, identify ongoing quality issues, and contribute to process improvements using blueprints and various measuring devices.

The role requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools, with routine supervision and opportunities for discretionary bonus based on performance metrics.

Responsible for in-process and final product quality analyses/inspection in compliance with standards and regulatory requirements. Interprets and evaluates the analyses in terms of accuracy and precision compared against established specifications. Identifies on-going quality issues, prevents potential production issues, and makes suggestions for improvement. Uses various measuring devices, testing equipment, predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to accept or reject products. May work from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists.. A Support 2 requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education. Responsibilities typically include: Works under moderate supervision.. Problems are typically of a routine nature, but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures.. Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation. This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
