Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group is seeking an Inventory Associate to support warehouse operations in Morrisville, NC. You will locate and verify materials, manually count items, record quantities in our cycle counting system, scan barcodes, and help maintain organized storage areas.

You’ll also recount discrepancies, follow safety procedures, and report daily progress. Ideal candidates have attention to detail, comfort using scanners and inventory software, and the ability to stand, walk, and lift up

Qualifications

Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
Comfort with scanners, handheld devices, and inventory software.
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 lbs for extended periods.
Prior inventory, warehouse, or stockroom experience preferred.
Ability to follow documented procedures and work independently.

Responsibilities

Locate and identify material, review counts, and confirm part/asset numbers.
Count items by hand and enter quantity and location into the system.
Scan barcodes or serial numbers wherever possible.
Flag and recount discrepancies, document variances, and escalate.
Maintain organization by returning items to correct locations and marking areas.
Follow safety and security procedures for hardware and counts.
Report daily progress on counts, discrepancies, and blockers.
