Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience with cyberspace operations or cybersecurity.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to collaborate with SMEs to validate content and evaluate content effectiveness.
  • Ability to learn technical and operational material quickly from published documentation.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • HS diploma or GED.

Cyberspace Foundations Instructor & Developer

The Opportunity:


Do you want to develop training that will introduce DoD personnel to cyberspace operations? As an instructional developer, you know that even the best tools and processes can’t have an impact without the right education. Constructing an introductory course that teaches critical cyberspace concepts and lexicon requires a real passion for understanding the needs of your customer. We have an opportunity for a cyberspace instructor & instructional developer who is committed to crafting effective training for motivated learners from different career fields and backgrounds.


On our team, you’ll work with SMEs and product designers to capture your customer’s training needs and advise them on the right learning solution to help them accomplish their mission by putting the learner at the center of the training experience. You’ll use your te chn ical skills, creativity, and experience to come up with new ideas to develop an e nga ging and interactive learning experience.


You know communication is key, so you’ll meet with SMEs and product designers throughout the process to discuss learning material and incorporate feedback. To ensure your solution is hitting the mark, you’ll collect and analyze results using evaluation methodologies such as the Kirkpatrick Model, then fine-tune your training for maximum impact. You’ll be able to hone your leadership skills as you share your expertise through leadership and mentoring in the classroom as an instructor and facilitator. As a leader in the classroom, you’ll identify new opportunities to build a network of students and SMEs to continuously evolve your training solution to meet the pace of operations.

You Have:



  • 4+ years of experience with cyberspace operations or cybersecurity


  • Experience with Instructional Systems Design and creation of course material


  • Experience developing or delivering training that meets the requirements of Joint publications, doctrines, and policy implementations


  • Knowledge of Micro sof t Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint


  • Ability to collaborate with SMEs to validate content and evaluate the effectiveness of course material and delivery

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph


  • HS diploma or GED

  • Experience within United States Cyber Command or Cyber Mission Force-aligned organization


  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers


  • Bachelor's degree


  • Instructor or ISD certification through a recognized military or commercial training provider



Clearance:


Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
