Role Description

As an information security specialist, you will lead security solution implementations for clients, supporting their efforts to safeguard their business. You will be part of an international team of experts working on complex security challenges, utilizing advanced tools to combat cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and discover new security vulnerabilities; participate in conferences; share knowledge through publications and speaking engagements.
• Develop and deliver tailored vulnerability management programs for clients, collaborating with leadership to enhance EY’s service offerings.

Skills and Attributes

• Build rapport and develop internal networks; deliver high-quality client service.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends; evaluate and implement vulnerability management solutions; perform vulnerability assessments.
• Familiarity with security standards (ISO 27001-2, PCI DSS, NIST, etc.) and operational tools (Qualys, Rapid7, Tenable, etc.).
• Evaluate vulnerability tools and conduct root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts including risk management, incident response, and architecture.
• Assist in cybersecurity project management and develop project documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum 4 years’ experience) or Master’s degree (minimum 3 years’ experience) in related fields.
• Experience with vulnerability management tools and security standards.
• Understanding of operating systems, cloud concepts, and networking fundamentals.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to interact with senior management.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; valid driver’s license and passport.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior consulting experience; experience in OT environments.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP); penetration testing, application security, scripting skills.
• Experience in financial services sector regulation; attack surface management.
