Cyber threats, social media, massive data storage, privacy requirements, and business continuity demand robust information security measures. As an information security specialist, you will lead the implementation of security solutions for our clients and support their efforts to protect their business. You will be part of an international team of specialists assisting clients with complex information security challenges and contributing to their business resilience. You will work with our Advanced Security Centers to access sophisticated tools to combat cybercrime.

Your key responsibilities

• Research and discover new security vulnerabilities, attend and speak at top security conferences, and share knowledge through various channels including white papers and blogs.
• Build a full-service vulnerability management offering, assist in delivering services, and develop EY’s vulnerability management offerings.

Skills and attributes for success

• Develop rapport, understand client concerns, and deliver quality services.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and evaluate client vulnerability programs.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, understand security standards (ISO 27001-2, PCI DSS, etc.), and operate vulnerability management tools (Qualys, Rapid7, Tenable, etc.).
• Evaluate tools, conduct root cause analysis, and assess exploitability and impact of vulnerabilities.
• Possess knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, project management skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 4+ years of experience or a master’s with 3+ years.
• Experience with vulnerability management tools and security standards.
• Understanding of operating systems, cloud concepts, networking, and scripting.
• Excellent reporting and communication skills, willingness to travel, and a valid driver’s license and passport.

Preferred qualifications

• Prior consulting experience, CISSP certification, OT and cloud environment experience, penetration testing, application security, scripting skills, and industry-specific regulatory knowledge.
