As an information security specialist, you will lead security solution implementations for our clients, helping them protect their business. You will be part of an international team of experts addressing complex security challenges and enhancing business resilience, utilizing advanced security tools to combat cybercrime.

Your key responsibilities

• Research and discover new security vulnerabilities, participate in conferences, and share knowledge through white papers, blogs, and speaking engagements.
• Build tailored vulnerability management programs, assist in client engagements, and contribute to EY’s vulnerability management service offerings.

Skills and attributes for success

• Develop rapport, understand client concerns, and deliver high-quality services.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and evaluate client vulnerability programs.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, familiarity with security standards (ISO 27001-2, PCI DSS, NIST, etc.), and operational experience with tools like Qualys, Rapid7, Tenable, and others.
• Evaluate and select vulnerability management tools, conduct root cause analysis, and assess exploitability and impact risks.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, project management, and excellent communication skills.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field, with 4+ years of experience; or a Master’s degree with 3+ years.
• Experience with vulnerability management tools and security standards.
• Understanding of operating systems, cloud concepts, and networking fundamentals.
• Strong query writing, API integration skills, and ability to communicate vulnerabilities effectively.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; valid driver’s license and passport required.

Preferred qualifications

• Prior consulting experience, OT environment experience, cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP), penetration testing, application security, scripting skills, and familiarity with regulatory requirements.
