As an information security specialist, you will lead security solution implementations for clients, assisting them in protecting their business. You will be part of an international team of specialists addressing complex security challenges and enhancing business resilience, utilizing advanced security tools to combat cybercrime.

Your key responsibilities

• Research and discover new security vulnerabilities, attend conferences, and share knowledge through various channels including white papers and blogs.
• Build full-service vulnerability management offerings, assist in client engagements, and develop EY’s vulnerability management services.

Skills and attributes for success

• Develop rapport with clients, deliver quality services, and manage risks effectively.
• Stay updated on industry trends and evaluate client vulnerability management programs.
• Own portions of vulnerability management solutions, perform assessments, and identify control weaknesses.
• Familiarity with security standards (ISO 27001-2, PCI DSS, NIST, etc.) and operational experience with tools like Qualys, Rapid7, Tenable, etc.
• Evaluate and recommend vulnerability management tools, conduct root cause analysis, and assess exploitability and impact.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, project management skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with 4+ years of experience, or Master’s with 3+ years.
• Experience with vulnerability management tools and understanding of operating systems, cloud concepts, and networking fundamentals.
• Strong query writing skills, API knowledge, and ability to communicate technical issues clearly.
• Valid driver’s license and passport, willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Preferred qualifications

• Prior consulting experience, OT environment experience, cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP), cloud/container experience, penetration testing, scripting skills, and familiarity with regulatory environments.
