Cyber threats, social media, massive data storage, privacy requirements, and business continuity demand strong information security measures. As an information security specialist, you will lead the implementation of security solutions for our clients and support them in protecting their business. You will be part of an international team of specialists helping clients with complex information security needs and contributing to their business resilience. You will work with our Advanced Security Centers to access sophisticated tools to combat cybercrime.

Your key responsibilities

• Research and discover new security vulnerabilities; attend and speak at security conferences; share knowledge through various channels, including white papers and blogs.
• Build a full-service vulnerability management offering; serve on client engagement teams; help develop EY’s vulnerability management services.

Skills and attributes for success

• Develop rapport, understand client concerns, deliver quality services.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, keep stakeholders informed.
• Stay updated on industry trends; evaluate and tailor vulnerability management programs; perform vulnerability assessments; understand security standards and tools; communicate effectively with technical and leadership stakeholders; and assist in cybersecurity project management.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related; 6+ years of experience, or a Master’s with 5+ years; CISSP or similar certification.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability management lifecycle and standards like ISO 27001, PCI DSS, NIST, etc.; hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools and platforms; knowledge of operating systems, cloud concepts, and networking; ability to write queries and report issues clearly; familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and project management skills; valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Prior consulting experience, experience in OTenvironments, cloud/container environments, penetration testing, application security, scripting skills.
