As an information security specialist, you will lead the implementation of security solutions for our clients, supporting their efforts to protect their business. You will be part of an international team of specialists addressing complex security needs and enhancing business resilience, working with our Advanced Security Centers to utilize sophisticated tools against cyber threats.

Your key responsibilities

  1. Research and discover new security vulnerabilities, participate in conferences, and share knowledge through various channels such as white papers and blogs.
  2. Serve on client engagement teams to deliver vulnerability management services, helping develop EY’s vulnerability management offerings.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Build rapport and develop relationships to deliver high-quality client services.
  • Monitor progress, manage risks, and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and evaluate client vulnerability management programs.
  • Own portions of vulnerability management solutions, perform assessments, and identify control weaknesses.
  • Familiarity with security standards (ISO 27001-2, PCI DSS, NIST, etc.) and operational experience with relevant tools (Qualys, Rapid7, Tenable, etc.).
  • Evaluate and recommend vulnerability management tools, conduct root cause analysis, and assess exploitability and impact.
  • Understand cybersecurity concepts including vulnerability management, privacy, incident response, and enterprise security strategies.
  • Assist in project management tasks such as developing project charters and plans.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field, with 6+ years of experience, or a master’s degree with 5+ years.
  • Relevant cybersecurity certification (e.g., CISSP).
  • Deep understanding of vulnerability management lifecycle and standards.
  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability management and patch tools, operating systems, and cloud concepts.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills, with ability to interact with senior management and technical teams.

Preferred qualifications

  • Consulting experience, OT and Cloud environments experience, Penetration Testing, Application Security, scripting skills, and regulatory experience are a plus.
