Job summary

SEL Government Services Department is seeking a team-oriented candidate to conduct white and black box testing of devices and software for security flaws and vulnerabilities, with responsibilities including design, implementation, and testing of firmware and software systems. Location is Pullman, WA, with competitive pay and strong benefits.

The role requires collaboration with Hardware Engineers, documentation upkeep, and staying current with security mitigation processes.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Typically 2+ years experience in one or more areas: Object Oriented and/or Embedded Programming (C, C++, C#, Python). Network Communications (IS and/or ICs Protocols). Digital Forensics- Reverse Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test firmware and software systems.
• Identify areas of concern and recommendations for improved cybersecurity stance.
• Prepare and maintain designs and test documentation.
• Mentor Associate Engineers and Technicians.
